Yesterday we noticed the tooth we'd been feeling for on Ethan's botton gums, broke through! Yeah! More sleep and a more contented baby. He seems to be back on a schedule the last 24 hours...bed at 2130, up at 0500 for a bottle and awake at 0830 til his morning rest @ 1000.
The big change for the morning seems to be his ability to balance and recover when sitting up. HUGE advantage when you're learning to crawl on a wood floor. He has quickly navigated his way off the carpet remnant we put on the floor to soften his tumbles. Until this new skill develped, we'd been chasing him around with pillows and soft things so when he toppled, he'd have a safe place to fall. I think he's a very determined little guy. He's very pleased with himself for learning to sit up. It makes us smile too, but then when you see his face, you cant help but do that! I'll post photos later today.
Would love our feedback about what all we need to include, more of, less of...whatever. We're new at this but want to make it fun to read/look at. Until later...

read 'our feedback' as YOUR feedback! guess I need to spellcheck! T
ReplyDeleteWow...he really is sitting up! He sitting so tall! I have stared at this picture and can't believe it is the little baby I dropped off a few weeks ago. He looks so big!! I am dying to know what he was staring at in the pictures...he looks pleasantly confused and intrigued.:-) I think he is inquisitive by nature...wants to figure things out. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteHE was looking at the new toy you sent, the velcro thingy. He loves the water bubble one. Sam was handing him the velcro face on one of the other pieces when the pic was taken
